FULL-STACK JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER

We are seeking two full-stack JavaScript Developers who will take a key role on our team for the product advancement of our automated Private Equity fund administration platform. The ideal candidate must have 40hours/week of availability and knowledge at all stages of software development and the infrastructure that supports it. You will be working with other developers remotely and collaborating on the various layers of our platform (GUI, Web Server, API Server, and Database).

Core Responsibilities

• Co-Develop the overall architecture of the platform
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with the team to design and launch new functionality, contributing through Git
  
• Provide technical assistance for new and existing clients
  
• Maintain code integrity and organization
• Work closely with the team to develop and refine the technical roadmap
• Identify opportunities to proactively improve the platform

Required Education, Certifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience including JavaScript, Node.JS, NGINX, MySQL, MongoDB NoSQL
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Cloud, multi-tier architecture, Linux servers, load balancers, docker, and API design & implementation
• Must possess a business-level understanding of enterprise application systems
  
• (Optional) Knowledge of financial investment products, especially private equity instruments
• Should have a very good understanding of Cloud Native services and how they ascribe to application requirements, preferably with AWS
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in computer science or related field
• Proficient in English and communication

PRIVATE EQUITY ACCOUNTING SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

We are looking for a dynamic candidate that is part of our business analyst team. You will be working closely with our clients to deliver Private Equity fee transparency solutions. This position represents an opportunity to gain experience working in a dynamic asset class, in an entrepreneurial environment and for a growing company. 

Core Responsibilities

• Help modeling new waterfall agreements to be able to calculate investor level Carried Interest
• Analyze the limited partnership agreements(s) and extract economic terms of the waterfall and management fee clauses 
• Review and cleanse fund and portfolio company cash flow profiles to use in waterfall calculation 
• Using your accounting skills, reconcile and investigate causes for variances between calculated based on our model and GP reported Carried Interest 
• Build out business analyst organization as a team leader 

Required Education, Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting 
• Financial analyst background (CFA) a plus 
• Experience in Private Equity fund accounting and practical experience on carried interest waterfall calculations 
• Strong technical, analytical, financial modelling and project management skills with a high attention to details required 
• Strong team player with highly effective communications and writing skills 
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability of work product 
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
• Ability to handle several projects and different stakeholders simultaneously 
• Good time management, ability to self-organize and prioritize workload is required

INVESTRAN PROGRAMMER
& IMPLEMENTATION

We're seeking an experienced Investran programmer/consultant for a project working with our software development team to enhance our Investran implementation as well as our product and data model integration.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and support Investran integration and data utility framework
• Lead the Investran data modelling effort, including Accounting and reporting hierarchies, transaction types, batch templates, Active Templates, Allocation Rules, Data Import Utility, and Report Wizard
• Perform SQL optimization and SQL Server performance tuning
• Assist development team with QA and troubleshooting

Required Education, Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum one to three years of progressively responsible experience in managing an office and providing executive support
• 6+ years of professional programming experience developing applications using C# and other .NET technologies, including VSTO, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web Services and SQL Server technologies, including SSRS and SSIS
• Working knowledge of the Investran SDK and API
• Working knowledge of accounting and reporting principles in the Private Equity area
• Knowledge of Agile development best practices
• Knowledge of and experience with SDLC frameworks such as Waterfall, SCRUM and KANBAN
• Demonstrated team player, self-starter, and independent thinker with good communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or equivalent
• Experience in systems integration, web service and ETL development is a plus 
• Experience in working with Private Equity (or Alternative Investments) firms and understanding of the PE lifecycle events is an advantage Experience supporting board meetings preferred

Location and Travel

This is a work from home position with travel to the NYC office a few times per week.
